2009 Vision Research Symposium

Summary

On January 9th, 2009, The Center for Visual Sciences will be hosting an all-day vision research symposium at the Center for Neuroscience. The broad strengths of vision research at UC Davis will be illustrated by featured short faculty talks and poster sessions, with time for small group discussions. The highlight will be two keynote speeches by Dr. Trevor Lamb from the Australian National University, as well as a guest lecture by Dr. Andrew Mariani from the National Eye Institute on the changing roadmap and peer review at the NIH. Everyone is invited to attend this event and learn about vision research at UC Davis and the goals and roadmap of vision research as a whole. Space is limited, so for more information and to RSVP, please contact cvsadmin@ucdavis.edu.
